ThermiVa Feminine Rejuvenation

Introducing ThermiVa. ThermiVa is a temperature controlled radio frequency system, used for Feminine Rejuvination as an in-office procedure.

Dr. Nachbar is pleased to be able to offer ThermiVA as an in-office procedure at his Scottsdale office.

ThermiVa uses the same temperature controlled heating system that Dr. Nachbar has been using since 2013, but is a new application of the technology. It works by applying significant, but carefully controlled, heat to the external and internal tissues, but is non-surgical, in that no incisions are made.

Women have reported tightening of loose labia majora tissue, although the labia minora do not generally respond -- enlargement of the labia minora (inner lips), which is quite common, is best treated by labiaplasty. Women have also reported improvement in stress urinary incontinence, improved vaginal moisture, and vaginal tightening.

The procedure is very comfortable, requires no anesthesia, and you can resume all activities, including sexual activity, immediately after the procedure. Although women have reported improvement after even a single treatment, three treatments, about a month apart, are recommended for all patients.
